Man-Made Quartz Slabs

S.B.S.I. is a Certified Fabricator for the following Quartz Suppliers:

Caesarstone, Silestone, Pental, Cambria, Copa and countless more.

Over 15 years ago, we were one of the first fabrication shops in Southern California to welcome the manufactured quartz importers and have diligently grasped their materials. Earning their Certified Fabricator Certificates ensures our mastery and provides all above manufacture product guarantees.

Jobsite Services:

Shop drawings for all slab items detailing seam locations, vein pattern, sink and edge treatments.

 

Slab edge samples. Like a particular edge or two; we will manufacture actual samples for your review.

 

Tile pattern layout for approval. We will unpack and layout each design and await approval prior to installation.

 

Factory template layouts. Join us at our factory and tell us how you wish for your slabs to be cut. You are welcomed to be as involved as you wish!​

 

Materials shipping and handling. We have large enough trucks and customized forklifts to manage the biggest of jobs.

Extreme Services:

Never before seen Customized Slab Edges. We have copied crown and base moldings, soffit designs and even a family crest. Your imagination is the limit.

 

Dead Center Tile: Early in the construction process (before rough plumbing) we meet on site with your plumber and framer to coordinate fixtures (stub-outs), drains, dams, jambs, headers, ceilings, seat and niche locations. We will coordinate all trades so your installed tile material is perfectly centered on the tile or grout lines. Your finish material must be selected and actual samples available. We provide the same service for tile countertops as well.

Factory Seams: Have an item that is larger than the slab but wish to avoid a seam? Under certain circumstances, we can “factory seam” the piece at our facility and deliver as a whole. The factory seam is not discernable to touch and great pains are exerted to book match. The factory seam is only noticeable as a tight fine line.

 

Custom Fireplaces: We can manufacture the most elaborate slab and block fireplaces. We also have the resources to have elaborate carvings performed.

 

Block Selection and Cut-to-Size: On occasion, our clients wish to bypass the local stone market and travel directly to the overseas source to select their own block(s) or order specialty cut to size materials. We enjoy such projects and have experience in both Western and Eastern Europe as well as India.
